Heroes of the Storm World Championship

『Heroes of the Storm』はBlizzard Entertainmentが開発を進める Multiplayer Online Battle Arena(MOBA)です。

プレーヤーは「Diable」「StarCraft」「Warcraft」などBlizzard Entertainmentが誇る人気ゲームに登場するキャラクターを操り、5vs5形式にて競い合います。

予選

Heroes of the Storm World Championship

予選は上記の通り5エリアで開催され、BlizzCon2015で開催される『World Championship』には8チームが出場となります。

『World Championship』では、総当たりのグループステージが行なわれ、上位4チームがプレーオフに進出。プレーオフでシングルイリミネーション方式のトーナメントでワールドチャンピオンが決定されます。

『Heroes of the Storm』の正式サービスは6月2日にスタート予定

現在はクローズドベータが進行されている『Heroes of the Storm』ですが、正式サービスはアメリカ時間の2015年6月2日にスタート予定です(オープンベータは5/19より)。
