総合優勝となるには、「優勝1回以上」「ベスト8入り2回以上」の両方を満たしている必要があります。
出場競技数に制限はありません。
また、出場するには予選を勝ち抜くなど出場条件を満たす必要があります。
優勝した「Team Falcons」は、他チームよりも多い22競技に出場しての獲得となります。
大会への出場や入賞は実力次第ではありますが、開催国サウジアラビアのチームが大金を投じての結果であることから、公平性の観点で疑問を投げかける意見もあります。
優勝が決定した際に映し出されたファンの映像には「サクラだ」という皮肉の配信コメントが付けられていました。
